Why we like it
One of Bruichladdich's flagship drams. This 10 year old single malt from the isle of Islay is drawn from a combination of American Whiskey casks and French wine casks.
This is a richly perfumed Scotch and there is a rich interplay between the peat, barley and oak, it's harmonious. Pine, vanilla and oatmeal with a nuanced peppery spice. The 10 year aged statement has meant the Whisky has integrated incredibly well. Very impressive.
