Tasting notes

The Susucaru Terre Siciliane Rosso is a field-blend of mostly Nerello Mascalese with other local varietals from old vine vineyards: Nerello Capuccio, Allicante Boushet, Minella Nera, Uva Francesa and Minella Bianco. A wine with "high drinkability" combining body and character of Etna: elegance, structure, fragrance, and personality.

So light, bright and crunchy, yet so much more, there is this innate quality to this wine, where you truly feel as though you’re tasting the place where it came from, the rich volcanic soil of Etna. It’s not for nothing that the term volcano wine has well and truly entered into the wine lexicon of the world, and Susucaru has definitely played a prominent role in that.
