Why we like it

A wine made in tribute to a man called Sergei who the winemakers met in Belarus one year. Why is he holding a toy rhinoceros? we don't know. Why is he sitting nude staring lovingly into the distance? We also don't know.

What we do know is that those ragamuffin's over at Konpira Maru know how to make ultra smashable wines. The "Belarus" is no different. Friulano from the Alpine Valley, wild fermented on skins for 21 days before heading to old French oak barrels for a rest prior to bottling.
