Why we like it

Bruno Tormena established Mongarda in 1978, which is run today by his son, Martino. They have a strong natural approach and commitment to handcrafting the wines. The extreme slope requires the vines to be almost completely manually worked, they use no pesticides, no synthetic fertilisers, with only limited use of copper and sulphur.

Another fantastic example of a ‘Col Fondo’ (bottled fermented) style of Prosecco. This was how Prosecco was made back in the day, prior to industrialisation and homogeny that it brings. The result is a clean yet extremely expressive style of ‘natural’ Prosecco.
