Why we like it

Collio, is a wine making region nestled in the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy’s North-East. The grapes used in this wine are 100% Tocai Friulano, grapes that have been present in the area for centuries. Hand-picked and pressed before being allowed to rest briefly with no added sulphur. The fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks before being aged for 8 months on its lees (spent yeast).

The nose bounds out of the glass and is a cacophony of peach, honeydew melon and almond meal. There is a steely minerality in the mouth that compliments the wines fuller body. This might be your new favourite white wine.
