Why we like it

South Australia's Barossa Valley is synonymous with Shiraz, it's almost as if the soils themselves were created for that grape. 6th generation Barossa winemaker Dan Standish has fused the land, the grape and his knowledge to create something so much bigger than the sum of its parts. This is truly breath-taking wine.

This wine is perfumed; Blue and Boysenberry come to the fore here, that falls away to an earthy, baking spice characteristic and on the backend a welcome vanilla note. The tannins are dense, graphite like but support and structure the wine. This wine is a delight to decant and drink and this is one that you could pop in the cellar for the next 25 years, no problem.
