Why we like it
“The Ballad of Boggy Creek” god damn what a great name for a bottle of vino. This badboy in question is 100% Arneis from one of our favourite winemaking duo’s Konpira Maru.
They aimed to make a textural white that was light on its feet but still packed a punch (think Muhammed Ali in his prime). Throw in a bit of skin contact and then they finished the ferment in old french oak. The wine has a subtle yet gripping tannin, and flavours of granny smith apple and green almond. A moderate haze with a lovely green-yellow gloss.
This is a wine for lazy days in the park, throwing a frisbee with your mates whilst a dog runs around your feet. You beeeeeeewwwwdddyyy.
Lofi Wine, skin contact, unfined, unfiltered.
