Why we like it
Vino Volta is one of the exciting new breed of winemaker emerging from Perths Swan Valley. Each variety was picked separately and fermented naturally, spending 3 weeks on skins before being pressed off to old barrique. The wines were matured for 7 months on lees prior to bottling.
A collision of two aromatic whites (and a little pink). Natural ferment on skins, matured in old barrique. Pink and orange tones, vibrant, pink grapefruit, lychee, ginger, rose, saffron and sweet spice. Lots of energy, interest and texture. This really is a fantastic wine and a style you don't see too often.
