Why we like it

Allora! Whoever had the foresight to plant hardy, drought proof Italian varietals in Perths Swan valley deserves a medal. Those grapes, in this case Fiano, in ex-Houghton winemaker Garth Cliff's hands are one of the best white wines we have had out of the Swan in a long time.

The wine spent a short time on skins prior to a wild ferment in old barriques. We’re big fans of this fresh yet layered Fiano. Lime, Elderflower, honeysuckle & a touch of nuttiness. Depth and texture is built with skin contact, lees and a touch of mature oak.
