Scorpo Estate Pinot Gris
Why we like it
Is Pinot Gris often boring? YES. Is this wine? NO
Its soo pretty and crispy. Full of lovely snappy green pears, apple studded with cinnamon spice. It’s fresh, but juicy, all the orchard fruit, and again the spice and blossomy florals, some lime rind. This is bang on. The balance between freshness, length, shape and flavour is what makes it.
Structurally its light with fastidious acid and great length that makes it perfect for any spring/summer meals. Everything from this producer sings along so nicely. We recommend trying more from this producer as we’re loving everything they release.
